Spreadsheets & Python 2

This week I had some parts that I had never done before. The first couple were refresher but the last 3 were new to me so glad I could add some more python skills to my arsenal. https://colab.research.google.com/drive/1STyH8TbklQthbt5xCfMAGduW9pHYoQ2l?usp=sharing

Intro Spreadsheets & Python

This refresher to python helped me remember the basics so I am happy I can still code the essentials. Overall a lot of code basic's here that will be helping me later on in formats or more complex code. All the work from 1-12 will be down below in the link. DH Project Review

Image
The project that I looked was the Virtual St. Paul Cathedral Project. In essence, was a visual mapping of St. Pauls Cathedral and how it looked along with its surrounds from the early 17th century. Introduced from NC State and their colleges. The original use of this cathedral was for worship and here likewise, it is for worship as well but also adds the aspect where you can visualize how life looked at this snapshot in time. A perfect example of churches and their use then along with the effect it had on the surround areas. This project works well in concept seeing as having a virtual reality of the this cathedral is an obstacle in it of itself. Though I feel this can be expanded on, almost like a a series of projects like this could be achieve with the use of ai seeing as the code it already written up, you would just need a team to refine its work. Overall this project is in stage 2 of development but still has areas of improvement it can work on especially on its visual model ...

Blog Post 1 - Bio

My name is Tyler Orofino and I am a history major. And I had initially thought this was going to be a lecture based class. I am very glad though I was wrong about that. I initially took this class on recommendations from another student that Professor Wright was a great teacher along with the fact that I needed a last history class for my major. I will say I am most excited for where this class will take me seeing as I am quite literally walking into the unknown since I am used to exam and lecture based history classes. Not to mention hopefully this will help me in future classes for finding information online more effectively or even later after college as well.
